I am totally disagree with this. I know him campaigning for his Dad Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh in 1999 Assembly elections. Later he was appointed as a Vice President of State Youth Congress. Since Hon. Vilasraoji had to look after the state he wasn’t able to give time to his Constituency. But Amit Deshmukh took an initiative right from distribution of Tickets in Municipal Council, APMC, Zilla Parishad & Panchayat Samiti. He worked hard for the party and helped farmers in and around Latur to get a right price for their Sugarcane through his Factory.
Also he took more than 100s of rallies in the recent Lok Sabha Election for the campaigning of Jaywantrao Awale across the district and tasted him with a Victory.
With his leadership, Congress won Municipal Council, APMC, Zilla Parishad & Panchayat Samiti of Latur.
So it would be unfair to say he is getting the Ticket just because he is the son of Vilasraoji.
